Not all faulty windscreens need replacing, there are things that can be done to rectify smaller issues. The most common reasons for a windscreen leaking include bad workmanship of the screen being fitted previously or if there has been any damage to the bodywork of the vehicle. Misfitting of rubber seals or misalignment of glue can also cause this.
Signs that show the windscreen is not fitted correctly or is leaking include being able to see water running down the inside of the screen, either from the weather or when the vehicle is being washed. If you can see condensation on the inside this is a clear indication that there is either a gap or that your windscreen has been poorly sealed.
We will always try to repair this for you if possible, replacing the glass would be a last resort to ensure you have the most cost-effective repair method for your vehicle.
